Disposal of Waste Tyres Temporarily Ceased

Hay Shire Council advises residents that the acceptance for disposal of all waste tyres has temporarily ceased at all Councils Waste Disposal Sites. This decision follows a recent assessment by NSW EPA of the facility’s storage procedures. Council will provide further updates when available.

Hay Shire Council is seeking comment on the draft Hay & Maude Flood Study Report that was presented to the Floodplain Risk Management Committee on 17th March 2023. The flood model has been compiled using the various flood study reports undertaken over the previous years. Submissions can be made to 14th May 2023.
