Tenders, Quotations, and Expressions of Interest


Council has changed the way it is managing its suppliers and contractors and is inviting businesses that are interested in supplying their services or goods to Hay Shire Council to register through the purchasing platform VendorPanel, all relevant information including; insurances, licences/tickets, and quoted rates, can be lodged through VendorPanel.

If your business has not received an invitation via email and wishes to be included on Council’s VendorPanel list  please contact Hay Shire Council on 02 6990 1100 or email tenders@hay.nsw.gov.au to receive the link.

Waste Transfer Station opening days over Easter

The Hay Waste Transfer Station will be closed Good Friday but open on Easter Sunday as per normal.
Easter Saturday and Easter Monday are closed and it will be open again on Tuesday as per normal.

Council has on display for public comment its draft Public Cemeteries Policy. The draft policy can be viewed on Council’s website or at the Hay shire Council Administration Centre, 134 Lachlan Street, Hay. Submissions will be received up until 4pm Wednesday 14th May 2024. Submissions can be emailed to mail@hay.nsw.gov.au or posted/dropped into 134 Lachlan Street, Hay.

Draft Bush Fire Risk Management Plan

The Draft Bush Fire Risk Management Plan (BFRMP) for Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA), is now on exhibition until 5pm 18th February 2024. The draft plan has been developed by the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) Bush Fire Management Committee (BFMC). This plan looks at local bush fire risk factors and sets a treatment plan to mitigate bushfire risk in your community over the next 5 years.
