Council has changed the way it is managing its suppliers and contractors and is inviting businesses that are interested in supplying their services or goods to Hay Shire Council to register through the purchasing platform VendorPanel, all relevant information including; insurances, licences/tickets, and quoted rates, can be lodged through VendorPanel.

If your business has not received an invitation via email and wishes to be included on Council’s VendorPanel list  please contact Hay Shire Council on 02 6990 1100 or email tenders@hay.nsw.gov.au to receive the link.

Aboriginal early childhood education scholarships

Aboriginal early childhood education scholarships

Applications for the 2020 round of Aboriginal early childhood education scholarships are now open.

This program has been developed to help increase the number of Aboriginal early childhood teachers in NSW and ensure children have access to inclusive and culturally appropriate education programs.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people wishing to complete a four-year equivalent bachelor level early childhood education teaching qualification are invited to apply.

Scholarships of up to $20,000 per person are being offered.

Interested Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people do not need to be currently working in the education sector to apply.


How to apply

Applications should be submitted via Smartygrants on the Department of Education website.

Applications are open until Sunday 10 November.
