Hay Shire Council with the support of Transport NSW are hosting a Bike Day on Saturday 28th Septbemer 2019 starting at 10am at the Lions Park. 

The day will include bike checks, a safety talk from a police officer, PLENTY OF GIVEAWAYS, winners of colouring in and photography competitions awarded, joy ride around Bushy Bend and Sandy Point and a BBQ lunch!

COLOURING IN COMPETITION (for primary school-aged children) - Distributed to primary schools in the Hay Shire, winners will be awarded a prize on Bike Day (although you do not have to be present to receive your prize).

PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION (high school aged students, also open to all ages) - This will be held in conjunction with the Get Out In Hay promotion the Hay Tourist Centre is running, with Septembers theme CYCLING! All you have to do is take a photo that involves cycling in Hay and share your images on Facebook - HayTourism or Instagram - @haytourism. Be sure to use hashtags #getout #getoutinhay # haytourism # visithay. Winners will also be awarded a prize on Bike Day (although you do not have to be present to receive your prize).
