                  Hay Shire Council has two draft plans on public exhibition, Developer Contributions Plan and Showgrounds Master Plan, these plans are available for comment and submissions up until 5.00pm 12th July 2025.

                  Help Shape the Future of Our Community
                  
                  In line with the Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Guidelines, Council has developed draft versions of the following key planning documents, now ready for public exhibition ; Community Strategic Plan (10-Year Vision), Delivery Program (4-Year Roadmap), Operational Plan (1-Year Action Plan). Public feedback is open until 6th June 2025

                  Waste Transfer Station opening days over Easter
                  
                  The Hay Waste Transfer Station will be closed Good Friday but open on Easter Sunday as per normal.

Easter Saturday and Easter Monday are closed and it will be open again on Tuesday as per normal.

                  Council is inviting all residents to participate in community consultation sessions to provide valuable input for the development of its draft strategic plans. These sessions will help guide the future direction of our community and are an important opportunity for residents to contribute to Council's planning process.

                  The John Houston Memorial Pool rebuilding will take place from Monday the 3rd of March to Wednesday the 3rd of December.
