Current River height: 5.16m and falling quickly. The water is steady in Maude and rising at Booligal, there are expected large inflows from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days, with an expected peak now of 3.2m in Booligal  this week. Water is falling in Hillston. All flood gates are now open. Staff will undertake another level check in Booligal tomorrow as the predicted peak approaches.
