Drinking Water Report 2025
In 2025, Hay Shire Council performed routine drinking water sampling and testing to monitor the quality of drinking water.
Compliance is determined against the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (2011) guideline values for E. coli, and the physical and chemical characteristics of drinking water.
The Hay supply system achieved 100% compliance for E. coli and key physical water quality characteristics. Routine chemical monitoring showed characteristics met guideline values. Operational fluoride monitoring was also undertaken throughout 2025
