Important Flood Advice – Update 22 November 2022

Current River height: 8.64 and falling. Water levels in both Booligal and Maude are steady and being monitored and assistance provided where required. We are expecting large inflows from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days and weeks, with an expected peak of 3.4m in Booligal mid-December. Council crews are continuing to monitor the levees 24 hrs a day. You will continue to notice Council staff patrolling and checking and running pumps. Some Roads are also closed. Current River height: 8.90 and falling slowly. River peaked at 9.11m this week. Water levels in both Booligal and Maude are being monitored and assistance provided where required. The water is still steady in Maude and Booligal. We are expecting large inflows from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days and weeks. Council crews are continuing to monitor the levees 24hrs in town, closing off flood gates and setting up pumps as needed. Some Roads are also closed. Important Flood Advice – Update 13 November 2022

The current height river is 8.89m and rising. This week's forecast has rain for today. The BOM website indicates the river may peak 9.0m with a peak date around 17th November, further peaks are anticipated a few weeks later. We are prepared for this forecast peak with crews sandbagging and topping up levees as required. Council crews are continuing to monitor the levees 24hrs in town, closing off flood gates and setting up pumps as needed, The water is steadily rising in Maude with levee raising works commencing today in some sections. Large inflows are expected from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days and weeks. Some Roads are also closed. If you require flood assistance please contact SES on 132 500.
