The Department of Water & Energy has advised that Murrumbidgee town water supply allocations have been increased to 95%.

As a result Council has altered the restrictions applying to the Hay town water supply from Level 2 to Level 1.

Level 1 allows the use of water for all normal purposes, on any day of the week, except for the watering of lawns and gardens between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

The new level of restrictions will apply immediately from Wednesday 15th October 2008.
