Hay War Memorial High School Museum

A Soldiers Belt.

'The finest war memorial in the Empire'

The people of Hay built a War Memorial High School to remember those who served in World War I. An excellent collection of local war-related material is displayed in the school hall, along with the town’s honour rolls.

Exhibits also tell the story of the High School, once described as ‘the finest war memorial in the Empire.’ The School is still in use, and visits to the museum are governed by child protection laws. Please call 6993 1408 to arrange a visit.
